Children's Story Time

Children’s Story Time are every Tuesday @ 10:30 a.m. The program meets weekly and is open to children from infancy to five-years-old. An adult must accompany children. Library Story Times play an important role in early childhood literacy. According to the Program for Early Parent Support, “children benefit from hearing another adult read to them, from watching other children get engaged in a story, and from being exposed to a wide variety of authors and writing styles. Your child will also learn some essential school readiness skills, like how to sit still for an extended period of time, how to pay attention to an adult other than his parents, how to take turns, and how to be (reasonably) quiet in a public place.”

Tiny Tots Story Time

Join us for Tiny Tots Storytime, a delightful program designed for children aged 2 and under, held every Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. at LCPL. During this 30-minute session, little ones and their caregivers will enjoy a mix of reading, singing, talking, and playing. Parents and caregivers will also learn easy and fun ways to incorporate these activities into daily routines, making every day a storytime adventure. This program is a perfect bonding experience for young children and their accompanying adults.
