Where would we be without our Friends?

Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization that helps raise funds for library items and activities by selling books, videos, CDs and many more items! They are a national organization devoted to supporting local libraries by helping provide countless volunteer hours and fundraising activities that help make our library great!

Mission:

To support and enhance library service in Lawrence County
To create public support for quality library services through gifts, memorials and endowments for the library
To purchase special and unique items which the library budget cannot afford
To work for stable financial funding for Alabama libraries
